Richard H. Augustine, age 79, of Omaha, passed away March 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Richard was born November 11, 1943 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late LaFay and Gustine (Fowler) Augustine. Early in his working career Richard owned and operated a tree trimming business then worked as a truck driver for Fucinaro Trucking for 17 years retiring in 2009. Richard was a member of the Local #554 Teamsters Union. On October 13th of 2008, Richard married Connie Reed in Las Vegas. 

Richard is survived by his wife of 14 years, Connie Augustine of Omaha; children, Gustine Augustine, Nora (Jack) Metteer, Richard L. Augustine, Ruby Augustine, Kenneth Augustine, Albert Augustine, Leon (Chris) Augustine; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Ellen Augustine and Shaiann Griffin; brother, Kenneth (Brigitte) Augustine. 

Visitation with the family, Sunday, 4-6 p.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Memorials are suggested to Midlands Humane Society.
