<p>Lillian Austin Henderson, born January 17, 1939 to John Mander Austin and Lottie Bell Borders went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2023. Lillian was loved by all!</p><p><br></p><p>Lillian, with her heartwarming smile, was a native of Hendersonville, NC. She attended Lincoln Grammar School and Price High School. She was employed at Salisbury VA Medical Center and Rowan Memorial Hospital. She attended Hall’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member of Sunday School, Senior Missionaries, and Matron. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star.</p><p><br></p><p>Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Larry Henderson; grandson, Richard Austin; and a cherished cousin, Yolanda Woods.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her son, Maurice Austin of&nbsp; Vista, CA; grandchildren,&nbsp; Joshua Stone, Noah Stone-Howell, Maurice Austin II, Ranessa Austin, Anthony Sieker, Danita Serna; great-grandchildren,&nbsp; Joshua Stone II, Ethan Stone, Lauryn Reed, Noah Stone- Howell II, James Stone- Howell, Maurice Austin III, Meriq Austin; great- great-grandson, Zuko Reed; special care giving cousin, Leanese Alexander; goddaughter, JaMya Steele; and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.</p><p><br></p>

Obituary

Lillian Austin Henderson, born January 17, 1939 to John Mander Austin and Lottie Bell Borders went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2023. Lillian was loved by all!


Lillian, with her heartwarming smile, was a native of Hendersonville, NC. She attended Lincoln Grammar School and Price High School.
