<p>Carolin Sue McMasters, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 17th, 2023 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born July 29th,1946 in Morgantown to Rose Lee Ruggles.</p><p><br></p><p>Carolin is survived by her two sons Jeremy Scotchel and fiance' Rhonda Tennant of Morgantown, and Jarrett Scotchel and companion Olivia Powell of Westover; her grandchildren Chase Lawson and his wife Taila serving the US Army stationed in Hawaii, and Jillian Scotchel, Regan Scotchel, and Sheldon Scotchel all of Morgantown; her great-grandchildren Jaxton, Presley, and Braelynn Lawson; and her brother Terry Ruggles of York, PA</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother Butch Ruggles.</p><p><br></p><p>Carolin was formerly employed as a CNA with Valley Mental Health, and attended the Chaplin Apostolic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and shopping, and loved spending time with her dog Angel Grace.</p><p><br></p><p>At Carolin's request, she will be cremated with no services planned.</p><p><br></p><p>Smith Funeral &amp; Cremation Care &amp; SFCC Crematory of Westover / Morgantown is providing care and guidance to the family.</p><p><br></p><p>Messages of comfort and other symbolic gestures for the family may be offered at www.smithfcc.com.</p>
