<p>Clifford Meadows was born August 25,1953 in Cusseta, Georgia to Willie Joe, Sr. and Nina B. Meadows.&nbsp; He matriculated through the Cusseta Public School System.&nbsp; While growing up he was a High School Basketball star known as “Fluke.”&nbsp; Cliff accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where he served as an usher and Sunday School Teacher.&nbsp; In 1972 he graduated with an Associates Degree from Columbus Area Vocational School.&nbsp; He continued his education with Columbus Area Vocational School through September 1973, graduating with a job offer with Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co.&nbsp; He accepted and moved to Newport News Virginia.&nbsp; That same year he met his future wife Alice.&nbsp; Cliff and Alice were married July 22, 1978.&nbsp; Cliff was affectionally known as Pop or Pop-Pop.&nbsp; Pop loved music, entertaining family and friends, grilling because “y’all know he cooked the best steaks”, beating his brothers and others at horseshoes and spades.&nbsp; When he wasn't working, he could be found on his favorite couch watching Lifetime movies or westerns.&nbsp; He was a devoted member at Grays Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee, Treasurer and a member of the Male Chorus. Cliff also led various projects to maintain the church. Cliff was proceeded in death by his parents and twin siblings Joe Louis and David Meadows. </p><p>&nbsp;Left to cherish his love and memories are his wife of 44 years Alice M. Meadows;&nbsp; daughters,&nbsp; Tara R. Lycurgus “Ladybug”, Veronica Watts, Alicia Silver; sons, Michael (Kellee) Meadows “Jr.”, Michael Willis, , Chris Hinton, Jeremy Lambert and Lamont Farrackan; Grandchildren, Dante Barnes “Junebug”, Jasmine Lycurgus Truitt “Big Gnat”, Elvira Negron “Cricket”, Nya Lycurgus-Truitt “Lil Gnat” Treyleesa Dickerson “Butterfly”, Melia Silver-Randolph “Mosquito”; Siblings, Larkin Meadows, Marva (Tyrone) Ellis, Willie Joe Jr. (Cheryl) Meadows, Godfrey Meadows and Mable Meadows; Paternal Aunts, Annie Pearl Robinson “Aunt Shug” and Alberta Baker “Aunt Tot” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. </p>
