<p>Tina Marie Saunders , 66, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Doey's House.</p><p><br></p><p>Born Tuesday, July 24, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Kriner and the late Lorraine (Childress) Kriner.</p><p><br></p><p>Tina attended North Hagerstown High School and later graduated from the LPN program at HCC. She was first employed as a CNA at Coffman Nursing Home Nursing Home, and later was employed at Washington County Hospital, where she was awarded the Presidential Award and was also employed at Fahrney Keedy Home as the manager for the Assisted Care Facility, Charge Nurse on the 2nd floor and ended as the Manager of the Bowman Alzheimer Unit, she was also awarded Employee of the Year twice.</p><p>In 2008 Tina became the CEO of Tims Tax Service, she earned her credentialing as a tax preparer through the IRS and the state of Maryland. She was a member of St. James Brethren Church and the Red Men Pocahontas Red Feather Council 59 Tribe 84</p><p>Tina dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. She excelled at propping up and supporting members of her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Tina made it her mission to improve the lives of others, always putting others before herself. She was a passionate gardener and when she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found tending to her flowers and feeding the hummingbirds. We will miss her greatly.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband Timothy David Saunders; Husband, daughter, Amy A. (David) Smith, daughter, Rosie J. (Lester) Leggett, daughter, Tammy S. Saunders, daughter, Terri L. Saunders, brother, Joe Kriner, brother, Michael Davis, brother, Ronnie Eichelberger, sister, Sharon (Richard) Irvin, Brandon T. Smith, grandchild, Joshua W. Draper, grandchild, Alan M. Saunders, grandchild, Keller A. Wilt, grandchild, Jacob C. Taylor, grandchild, Jediziah I. Taylor, grandchild, Katherine M. Carter, grandchild, Juliet S. Carter, grandchild, Ava N. Carter, grandchild, Daniel L. Saunders, fourteen great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her sister, Gina Kriner and brother, Jimmy Kriner.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 11:00 am, at St. James Brethren Church, 17718 Lappans Road Fairplay, MD, with Pastor Don White officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Doey's House c/o Hospice of Washington County 1710 Underpass Way Unit 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be expressed at www.douglasfiery.com</p><p><br></p>

So sorry to hear of Tina’s passing . I worked with her for 9 years at FK . She was a wonderful caring nurse that cared about her staff and residents. My thoughts and prayers are with her Family .
