Constance (Connie) Morgan Miller, a resident of Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury in Irvington, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2023. She was 96.

Connie was born December 16, 1926, in Richmond to parents Benjamin F. Morgan, Jr. and Irma Tiller Morgan. She attended Richmond’s Thomas Jefferson High School, later graduating from Harcum Junior College in Bryan Mawr, PA, with a degree in fashion design and art.

She married H.N. (Sonny) Tyler in 1946 and had two children: Bonnie Tyler Spradling and Randal (Randy) Morgan Tyler. She lived her entire life in Richmond before relocating to the Northern Neck area upon marrying John William Miller in 1985..

Connie was a member of Irvington Baptist Church; a life member of the Country Club of Virginia; a former member of Indian Creek Country Club; and a life member of Historic Christ Church in Weems, VA.

She was predeceased by husband John, who passed away in 2000; son Randy in 2021; and son-in-law Russell Paul Brannon in 1994.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (husband Tom), and was known as “Ma” to her two grandsons, Jason Brannon (wife Kristi) and Todd Brannon (wife Stacey), and 5 great-grandsons: Parker, Tyler, Nicolas, Andrew and Emmett.

She was loyal daughter and wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many.

The family offers its deep appreciation to all of the RW-C staff for the dedicated care and love extended to Connie over the past decade, particularly the last two years.

A memorial service will be held in Connie’s honor at RW-C on Saturday, April 15, at 10:00 am with a reception following.
