Freeman, Owen Thomas

With great sadness we announce the passing of Owen Thomas Freeman at home on March 15th, 2023 after a long and courageous battle.

Born in Windsor, Ontario on September 18th, 1948 to the late Clifford and Mavis Freeman. Loving husband of 50 years to Peggy.

Father and biggest supporter to Scott (Nichol) and Matt (Melissa)

Papa and cheerleader to Kelsey, Carter, Mylz and Madden.

Proud older brother to Steve (Claudia) and Michael (Marlin).

He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

He was also proud of all his “adopted” sons and daughters. The support we have received from everyone is overwhelming.

Family and friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. If wished, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice gratefully appreciated. For those who are not able to attend the memorial service, it will be live streamed just prior to the service at www.twitch.tv/mccleisterfh .
