BARBARA MCMAHON RAMLER

Seneca – Ramler, Barbara McMahon, passed away on March 8th, 2023 in Seneca, South Carolina at age 102. She was born and raised in Sutersville, Pennsylvania before attending and graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She also earned admission to Phi Beta Kappa. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, loved reading Shakespeare and took classes while in retirement at the University of Delaware’s Academy (Wilmington Branch)

She met and married Edward Ramler at PSU and they were lifelong partners until his death in 2002. She is survived by her three sons, Gerald E. Ramler of Henrico, VA (Carolyn), Hugh P. Ramler of Seneca, SC (Melinda), and John M. Ramler of Mechanicsburg, PA (Linda), five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Her burial service will be held at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine, Wilmington, Delaware.
