Daisy Florence Williamson, 95, of Greenville, PA, died peacefully in her home on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2023.

The last surviving member in her immediate family, Daisy was born in the London Borough of Hackney, England on April 26, 1927 to the late Clement and Florence Maud (Bickerstaff) Ward.  

Daisy was a member of Christian Assembly in Greenville where she sang in the choir. She was also a lifetime member of the Women's Ministry Christian Assembly.

Daisy graduated school in London before moving to the United States. She was a homemaker and spent her lifetime making the home perfect for family. She did a lot of gardening and canning. She loved poetry, music and arts. She enjoyed traveling and theatre. Most of all, she loved Jesus and people.

She was married to Lawrence Raymond Williamson on March 6, 1948 in the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville. They were married 72 years before he preceded her in death on April 20, 2020.

Daisy is survived by a son, David Williamson of Greenville; three daughters, Jean Eaton of Greenville, Kathy Loutzenhiser of Fredonia, and Molly Best of AZ; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John C. Williamson and all of her immediate family in England, including two brothers, Len and Edward Wardel; and five sisters, Ivy Wardel, Molly Ward, Kathy Ward, Joan Hall, and Rene Ackland.

There will not be any services at this time.
