Geyza Alpine, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on

February 26, 2023 at the age of 90, surrounded by friends and family. Geyza is survived by his

and 9 great grandchildren.

Geyza was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1932 to Vince and Rudolfina Krepelka. In 1957 Geyza

moved to the United States where he first lived in Amarillo, TX for the first five years and then

ventured to Denver, CO in 1962. Working as a mechanical engineer, Geyza worked as the

Embassy in Hungary. On March 15, 1964 Geyza married his sweetheart of a wife Bonnie and

within a few short years, he welcomed his son followed by his daughter.

Living in Colorado, Geyza found a love for the outdoors. He was a very active water skier during

the summers and downhill skier during the winters. He loved to hike the beautiful Rocky
