Patricia Ann Dorazio

<p>Patricia Ann Dorazio age 80, of Houston, passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023, in Washington Hospital. She was born October 4, 1942, in Gettysburg, a daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Nicholls Layton. Mrs. Dorazio lived most of her life in Houston and was Catholic by faith. She attended East Washington High School prior to being employed in the food service industry for many years at the former Brown Derby Restaurant and managing a restaurant at the Pittsburgh International Airport. Patty loved going to her grandchildren’s sporting events and visiting the Casino. She enjoyed hearing and telling jokes even though she continually screwed up the punchlines. On June 17, 1959, she married the love of her life Dominic Dorazio, who survives after 63 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Mark (Susan) Dorazio of Scenery Hill, Velvet (Joseph) Oliverio of Louisville, Ohio, Christopher (Moriah) Dorazio of Cokeburg, Sherri (Dom) Dorazio McDonald, and April Madison of Houston, her brother James (Kathy) Hervol of Boston, Mass., her sister Sarah (Andrew) Dino of Canonsburg, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased I in addition to her parents is her grandson Jeffrey J. Madison who passed away March 13, 2013, sisters Shirley (the late Sam) Borelli and Sandra &nbsp;(the late Lou ) Gazvoda and her step father Babe Hervol. </p><p>Mrs. Dorazio’s family is following her wishes by having private family time and services in the care of SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
