Delbert DeWayne Herrell of Grass Lake, age 80, passed away March 9, 2023. He was born July 28, 1942 in Rector, Arkansas, the son of Glen F. and Robbie G. Herrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Betty Joyce Herrell, Glenda Faye Wayne, Bobby Joe Herrell, Cloyce Irvin Herrell and Debra Diane Herrell Downing.

Del is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Debbra Ann (Yadlosky) Herrell; Daughter, Tracy Marie (Herrell) Zalac; son, Shane Delbert Herrell (Rebecca); grandchildren; Sophia Zalac, Andrew Herrell, Ryan Herrell and Emma Herrell; brother James Herrell (Mario); sisters, Patricia (Ron) Clifton, Roberta (Ted) Wolas, Sandra (Jon) Zalac, Phyllis (Norman) Horton and Catherine (Mike) Phillips; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Del's family will receive family and friends Friday April 21, 2023 from 10 to 11 A.M. followed by a memorial service at 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church of South Lyon, 60820 Marjorie Ann Street, South Lyon, Michigan 48178. A luncheon will follow the services at the church.
