Carol Ann Morris Bass

<p>Carol Ann Morris Bass, 80, of Winnsboro passed away at her home, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.&nbsp; Born in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ola Mae Robinson Morris.&nbsp; </p><p>She is survived by her husband, Ben Bass, Jr.; son, Ben Bass, III; daughter, Jennifer Bass Walling; and five grandchildren, Bryant Bass, Kourtney Bass, Kayla (Chris) Fain, David Walling, and Hunter Bass.&nbsp; </p><p>In addition to her parents, Carol Ann is predeceased by her son, Christopher Bass; and two sisters, Sandi Cooper, and Glenda “Tig” Coker.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Carol Ann was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother “Jimmy,” “MeMe,” Aunt, Sister and Friend. She had a passion and love for nursing and retired from Fairfield Memorial Hospital where she worked as an Emergency Room Nurse. </p><p>Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday evening, March 18, 2023, at Pope Funeral Home.&nbsp; Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Ethan Brown.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the church cemetery.&nbsp; </p><p>Pallbearers: David Walling, Chris Fain, Bryant Bass, and Jamie Cooper </p><p>Honorary Pallbearers: Jeff Coker, Dennis Coker and Terry Coker (Nephews) </p><p>John 11:25-26 KJV “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” </p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Carol Ann’s memory to Stephen Greene Baptist Church.&nbsp; </p><p>Pope Funeral Home is honored to assist the Bass family.&nbsp; </p>
