Mato Vujica

Funeral Mass for Mato Vujica, 83, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th St., Cleveland.

Mato passed away March 15, 2023,at his residence in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

He was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Bosnia.

Mato was the beloved husband of 62 years to Anastazija (nee Dodik) Vujica; devoted father of Snjezana Kajic (Aco Gudic), Marina Soldo (Marinko Gaspar), and Brigita (Ivan) Stefanovic; loving grandfather of Daniel (Gena), Anthony, Tony, Denis and Gabriela; great-grandfather of Alexia and Giovanni; and dear brother of Branko (Ljubica) Vujica. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and caring friends.

He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Dujo and Kata Vujica.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
