Dale Russell Berg, born March 9, 1953 in Waldheim, SK passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2023 with God’s hand upon him and his family by his side. Although Dale battled COPD and dementia in his later days, Dale lived a full life hand in hand with his wife, Belinda.

He loved adventures with Belinda whether travelling to tropical locations or on his motorcycle touring through the Rockies. Dale will forever be known for his love for his family, hard work and quick wit. Never loud and always patient, Dale touched the hearts of many.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Belinda; children, Dale (Rachel) and Christina; grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Eric, Jackson and Brooke; brothers, Beryl, Ken (Karen), and Tony (Kim); sisters, Rhonda and Sandy as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is predeceased by both his parents, Menno (78) and Alice (91); his brother, Russell (1); and his sister-in-law, Betty (71).

In remembrance of Dale’s generous spirit, in lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made in Dale’s memory to Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary.

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Choice Memorial Rocky View Chapel (243256 Garden Road, Rocky View, AB).
