Frank John Christmas
<p>Frank John Christmas, 86, of Rockford, peacefully went into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, March 16, 2023. He was born on October 8, 1936, to Charles and Belinda (Berryman) Christmas in Detroit, Michigan, but spent most of his life in Muskegon, Michigan. </p><p><br></p><p>Since the age of 14, Frank was always a hardworking and supportive man to his family. He was a man of the Lord. He lived his life for Christ and this could be witnessed through his actions, smile, and support. God’s creations were very important to Frank, and he loved to travel and spend time surrounded by them. He wouldn’t shy away from walking an extra mile or five to view some of these creations. He worked as a computer programmer for Teledyne Continental Motors/General Dynamics, for over 30 years. He started his career during the infancy of emerging technologies. Upon his retirement he and his wife, Debby, traveled the country by RV for 8 years. Many memorable times were shared. His gentle and kind disposition will be greatly missed, by many. </p><p><br></p><p>Frank is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debby Christmas; his children, Mark (Judy) Christmas, Lori (Glen) Maiden; stepson, Michael (Tabatha) Rogers; 8 grandchildren, Rachel, Amy, Melanie, Daniel, Lauren, Emily, Elizabeth and Jeffrey; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis (Gordon) VanderMolen, Chuck (Carol) Christmas, Tom (Sandy) Christmas; two sisters in law, Linda (Paul) Becker, Dana (Wendall) Ross, brother in law, David (Linda) Van Ess; many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Belinda Christmas; and brother, Richard Christmas.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, May 19, 2023 at 3:00PM at Algoma Baptist Church, 10515 Grange Ave NE, Rockford, MI 49341.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a Memorial Donation in Frank’s honor to Patrick’s Prayer Warriors to help feed the children in Zimbabwe (by sending a PayPal donation to thirtysecondencounter@yahoo.com</p>October 8, 1936 - March 16, 202310/08/193603/16/2023
