<p>Denny Joe Mize, 57, Kokomo, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at his home.&nbsp; He was born on November 21, 1965, to the late Benny Joe Mize and Pamela Marie (Gee) Free. </p><p>Denny worked for Chrysler as a pipe fitter for over 25 years.&nbsp; He was a member of Northview Christian Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends.&nbsp; He enjoyed swimming in the ocean, boating, being outdoors, bowling, and listening to music, especially hard rock &amp; roll.&nbsp; He will always be “Uncle Denny” to everyone who knew him. </p><p>Denny is survived by his mom, Pamela Free; siblings, Robert (Karie) Mize, and Lora Free; nieces &amp; nephews, Taylor Mize, Kailyn (Nick) Zuranski, Chad (Courtney) Gaddis Jr., and Joseph Butcher III; and dear special friend, Larry Perigen &amp; family.&nbsp; </p><p>He was preceded in death by his father, Benny; stepdad, Lester Free Jr.; paternal grandparents, Maude and Gerald Mize; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Red Nichols; and grandfather, Thomas Gee. </p><p>A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Northview Christian Church, 2059 N. 100 E., Kokomo, with Pastor Chuck Armstrong officiating.&nbsp; Entombment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday at the church. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com. </p>

Denny Joe Mize, 57, Kokomo, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at his home.  He was born on November 21, 1965, to the late Benny Joe Mize and Pamela Marie (Gee) Free.

Denny worked for Chrysler as a pipe fitter for over 25 years.  He was a member of Northview Christian Church.
