Skalij, Judy May (nee Kloepfer):

Surrounded by her husband, daughters and youngest sister, Judy passed away peacefully, at the KW Site of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the age of 60.

Beloved wife, soulmate and best friend to Robert Skalij.

Loving mom of Amy Kloepfer, Mandy Kloepfer (Oscar Palacios), Eric Skalij (Matt), Nicole Skalij.

Cherished Nana to Aviana, Jacob, Elise, Savannah, and Leah.

Dear sister of Bobby (Kathy) Kloepfer, Janie (Henry) Talbot, and Patty Kloepfer. Daughter-in-law of Myron and Mira Skalij and sister-in-law to Louise Coutu and Aneta (Claudio) Bolognone.

She will be fondly remembered by her dearest friend Pattie (Rob) Koreck, and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased her parents, Douglas and Evelyn (nee Johnson) Kloepfer; sister Margie (Jack) Coulson; brother Billy Kloepfer.

Judy was a Pharmacy Technician, spending many years at the University of Waterloo Pharmacy and then Beechwood Forest Pharmacy where she will be missed by her colleagues.

Judy's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy Service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.

A special thank you to the staff at the Cancer Centre and ICU at Grand River Hospital, Dr. Valdez, and nurses, Melissa and Emily for the wonderful care of Judy and her family over the past year.
