Leonel Roberto “Bobby” Vecchio, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by Oralia Vecchio; son, L. Robert Vecchio, Jr.; and father, Raul Vecchio.

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Debbie Ann Vecchio (Greg Eichten) and Amy (Juan) Cantu; grandchildren, Christian Jayden Castillo-Cantu, Ryan Alexander Cantu, Briella Rose Cantu, and Kaylee Rae Eichten; mother, Ercilia Vecchio; brothers, Raul “Roy” Vecchio, Jr. and Dionicio Luis “Nicho” Vecchio; and his caretaker, Ana Ledezma.

Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm with a 6pm rosary on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens under the direction of De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr
