Dave J Davis

<p>Dave J Davis, a beloved husband, stepfather, and grandfather, passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born on April 14, 1942, in Massillon, Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>Dave led an interesting life, serving his country during the Cold War as a Russian translator in the US Air Force. He was a talented writer and achieved a Ph.D. in English, which led him to a career as a professor at colleges in California, Utah, and other states. Later in life, he transitioned into the software industry as a technical writer.</p><p><br></p><p>Dave loved his wife, Lana Davis, for 40 years and adopted her children as his own. He was a guiding force in their lives, always supporting and encouraging them to explore new experiences. His daughter Susanne became a published author, his daughter Christen a nurse, and his wife Lana an accomplished therapist.</p><p><br></p><p>Dave also loved his grandchildren Alyissa and Tyler, who were his pride and joy. He made it a priority to spend time with them and provide them with new experiences. He also cherished his granddaughter-in-law Angela and his great-grandchildren Finnick and Fletcher.</p><p><br></p><p>Dave's legacy will be the principles and integrity he instilled in his family, his sense of social justice, love of animals, and intellectual thought. He believed that everyone had the potential to achieve great things and encouraged his loved ones to pursue their dreams.</p><p><br></p><p>His loss is felt deeply in his family, who are privileged to have had him in their lives.</p>
