<p>Anderson – Randy Lee Anderson, age 67, of Macclenny, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Roseburg, Oregon on March 7, 1955, to the late Thurman Fred Anderson and Wanda Woblin Anderson. Randy moved often as a child with his Army family and lived in GA, OK, and France before settling in Jacksonville, FL prior to retiring in Baker County in 2015. He was known for his jokester personality, love of Western Clint Eastwood classics, and blues music. He enjoyed riding back roads as he appreciated the beauty of the scenic routes. Randy proudly served our country in the United States Army as a member of the 82nd airborn and enjoyed a long successful career as a Fork Lift driver in the food service industry. More than anything, Randy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren. His family was his treasure and he certainly loved making memories with them. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.</p><p><br></p><p>Randy is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Laurie Anderson of Macclenny, FL; children, Joe (Christal) Anderson of St. Augustine, FL and Julie (Bryan) Anderson- Thompson of Fruit Cove, FL; brothers, Terry Anderson and Marty Anderson both of Georgia; sister, Judy Roberson of Georgia; and his six sweet grandbabies, Jensen, Justin, Reese, Brayden, Hannah, and Isaac.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held on Friday March 24, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Jacksonville National Cemetery where military honors will be rendered and with Josh Kenning officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. TODD FERREIRA FUNERAL SERVICES, 250 North Lowder Street, Macclenny, FL 32063 (904)259-5700.
