Martin Milton Goodman, 93, of Richmond, VA, passed away on March 10, 2023. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 61 years, Betty Wanderer Goodman; mother, Alice E. Goodman; sister, Beverly King; and nephew, Robert King. He is survived by his children, Donna Thompson (Wayne), Lawrence Goodman; grandchildren, David Thompson (Paola), Robert Vaughan, Michael Vaughan, Katarina Goodman, Noah Goodman; great-grandchild, Max Vaughan; and his beloved rescue pit-bull, Queenie. Martin served his country proudly in both the U.S. Army and Coast Guard Reserves, after which he went on to found a successful auto parts business, Goody’s Auto Parts. He will be remembered as someone who valued justice, worked hard, and was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m., March 20, 2023, at Richmond Beth-El Cemetery, 4000 Pilot’s Lane, in Richmond.
