Rickie Lynn Finney age 70 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away early Friday morning on February 10, 2023 at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

He was born September 25, 1952 in Battle Creek, Michigan son of the late George E. and Joan E. (Duggar-Morgan) Finney.

Rickie resided in Sturgis since 1980 coming from Battle Creek where he was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School with the class of 1971.

On December 3, 1972 he married Mary Ann Saltz in Battle Creek. In 1972.

Rickie began his career at Olson Bodies in Sturgis where he retired from Morgan Olson following 36 ½ years of dedicated employment.

He was a member of the Rome City bowling team and played softball for the teams of Larry Engle Ford and Subway. Rickie enjoyed attending Detroit Lions and Tigers games, following NASCAR, playing golf and listening to music.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann; son: Rickie L. Finney, Jr.; daughter: Tracy (Mike) Bower; grandchildren: Shayleena (Micheal), Dominique (Dajon), Nathan and several great grandchildren and brother: Randy Finney.

There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek.
