<p>Wayne, NJ: Ralph Lewis Gray, 82 years old, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Born to Ralph and Frieda Gray in Vernon Twp., NJ, he lived in Hardyston Twp., NJ since 1965 before moving to Wayne, NJ a year and a half ago.</p><p><br></p><p>Ralph served with the United States Air Force during peacetime and then worked as a Postmaster retiring from the Stockholm, NJ Post Office in 2002. A member of the Wallkill Valley Country Club in Franklin, NJ, Ralph enjoyed playing golf, tennis and bowling and enjoyed all sports and coached Babe Ruth baseball for several years. He was an amateur DJ specializing in old 45’s.</p><p><br></p><p>Ralph is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Frieda Gray and sister Sherri Gray and is the beloved husband of Joan Gray(nee Hofsmith). Dear uncle of Jack Valle of Parsippany, NJ, Richard Valle of Pompton Plains, NJ, Michael Valle of Wanaque, NJ and the late Karen Valle Goralski of Kinnelon, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to The Seeing Eye, P.O. Box 375 Morristown, NJ 07963-0375 would be appreciated.
