Jo Anna Negron
<p>Jo Anna Negrón, 60, of Dixon, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Serenity Hospice & Home, in Oregon, IL. She worked as an Assistant Supervisor at Walmart. Jo also had multiple degrees in accounting and was working toward her Masters.</p><p><br></p><p>Jo was born on November 20, 1962, in Dixon, the daughter of Donald and Betty (King) Mixen. She loved to visit the casino, gamble, play games on the computer, and bowling frequently in her younger years while her kids were growing up. Jo also loved to travel, and did so often, as her family owned "Sauk Trails," a charter bus company. It is through this love of travel that she met her husband, Victor Negrón, whom she later married on July 12, 2007. </p><p><br></p><p>Jo is survived by her husband, Victor Negrón; three daughters, Jennifer (Demetrius Muhammad) Young, of Dixon, Jamie Faber, of Norfolk, VA, Jody (Tom) Spencer, of Dixon; seven grandchildren, Alex, Kali, Dakota, Augest, Isaac, Emma, John; one great-grandchild, Leah; three brothers, Rick (Liz) Long, of MN, Rusty Mixen, of CO, Rodney Mixen, of Dixon; and many beloved nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Betty Mixen.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, in Dixon, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm, with the Bishop Michael Cole, from Worship Center Ministries, in Dixon, officiating. </p><p><br></p><p>Cremation Rites will be accorded. </p><p><br></p><p>A memorial has been established.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, in Dixon.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be sent to www.prestonschilling.com. </p>November 20, 1962 - March 13, 202311/20/196203/13/2023
