Theresa Irene Eisner

<p>Theresa was born in Calgary, Alberta March 10th, 1948. She was adopted by David and Choletilde McGraw and joined her sister Margaret and brother David and was later joined by adopted brother William. The family lived in Calgary for 10 more years before moving to Red Deer. </p><p>&nbsp;A few years later, they moved to a farm west of Innisfail. After Completing high school, she went to work at Deerhome (an institution for people with cognitive disabilities) where she met her future husband (Gary). After several years, she moved to Calgary. In 1969, she married Gary. They moved to Nordegg in 1971 where Gary worked at the correctional institution.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Shortly after moving to Nordegg, their son Christopher Trevor was born. A second son was born in January 1974 and unfortunately passed away in June 1974. In 1981, they moved to Edmonton where again Theresa worked in a group home with children with physical and mental disabilities. In 1994, the family moved to Penticton where Theresa continued working with people with disabilities until she was hospitalized and her subsequent passing. </p><p>Her joy was quilting and as she said fondling her materials. </p><p>She is survived by her brothers David and William, husband Gary, son Trevor (Rachel), and granddaughters Rebecca, Kirsten, Marina, and Chloe. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or plant a shrub, perennial flower, or tree and remember her every time you water it or pass it. </p><p>A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 am, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1296 Main Street, Penticton, BC. A livestream&nbsp;of the service will be available below. </p>
