<p>Kosmas “Gus” D. Pogotis, 88, residing in South Bend, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his home. </p><p>He was born September 10, 1934 in Arisvi, Greece to Triandifillos Pogotis and Sinathini (Pagotopouls) Pogotis, who both preceded Gus in death. </p><p>On March 25, 1952, he was united in marriage to Gloria (Moran) Pogotis, who also preceded Gus in death. </p><p>He worked for Nationwide Insurance for 46 years. </p><p>Gus is survived by his daughters, Carol J. (John) Toth of Indianapolis, Arlene K. Brown of South Bend, Mary A. (Frank) Toops of South Bend, and Christina L. (Sean) Duffin of South Bend; his sons, James E. (Tammy) Pogotis of South Bend, Terrance M. (Deborah) Pogotis of Mishawaka, and Thomas E. Pogotis of South Bend; his 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. </p><p>Along with his parents and his wife, Gus was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Mandee Pogotis. </p><p>Per the wishes of the family, no services will be held. Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. </p>

Kosmas “Gus” D. Pogotis, 88, residing in South Bend, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his home.

He was born September 10, 1934 in Arisvi, Greece to Triandifillos Pogotis and Sinathini (Pagotopouls) Pogotis, who both preceded Gus in death.

On March 25, 1952, he was united in marriage to Gloria (Moran) Pogotis, who also preceded Gus in death.

He worked for Nationwide Insurance for 46 years.
