<p>Juanita Margaret Tharp, 88, of Ft. Worth, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Waco, Texas. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery Pavilion. After a brief service, family and friends will then go to her daughter’s house in Rockwall, Texas.</p><p>Juanita was born August 22, 1934, in Grapeland, Texas. After graduating in Houston, she met her husband, Hal, at the bank where they both worked and eventually moved to Farmers Branch, Texas, where they raised their three children. She loved caring for her children, sewing, cooking, and serving as a Sunday School teacher and VBS leader for Royal Haven Baptist Church. Juanita and Hal then moved to Ft. Worth and soon thereafter, opened The Antique Colony. Her passions grew with her love of antiques, their home with beautiful gardens of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, cooking and canning, and most of all, her children, grands, and great-grands. She will be remembered for her great love, her humor, and her beautiful smile.</p><p>She was preceded in death by her father; mother; two brothers; her husband, Hal Tharp; and her son, Jimmy Tharp, who lovingly cared for her until his death.</p><p>She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Jan Johnson and husband, Colton Johnson, and Judy Trammell, and husband, Dick Trammell; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.</p><p>Pallbearers will be Taylor Trammell, Blair Trammell, Colin Loftin, Lanse Derrick, Clint Stiff, and Ken Freed.</p><p>The family invites you to leave a message or memory on our “Tribute Wall” at www.WHBfamily.com.</p>
