Mary J. (Nowaczyk) Kebaso, 70, Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s in Hewitt.

Mary was born on November 20, 1952 in Marshfield to Henry and Germaine (Fritz) Nowaczyk. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1970. She then received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Eau Claire and master’s degree from UW-Stout. She worked as a rehab counselor in California and then at Hennepin County in Minnesota.

Mary enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Nowaczyk of Hewitt, sister, Barbara Nowaczyk of Hot Springs, AR, brother-in-law, John Waltenberry of Wisconsin Rapids, sister-in-law, Andrea Nowaczyk of Phillips, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister at birth, brothers, James and Michael Nowaczyk, and sisters Patricia Nowaczyk and Judy Waltenberry.
