Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, March 13, 2023, Olive Ada Barrett (nee Tipple) of Bay Roberts, aged 94. 

Predeceased by her loving husband Edward, parents Mina and Harry Tipple; brother Raymond Tipple, step-brother Frank Tipple and step-sister Melida Mercer.

Lovingly remembered by her sons, Robin, Perry (Elaine) and Derrick (Dawn), her daughter-in-law Valerie Gregory, her grandchildren Bethany (Philip), Jeremy, Amy (Stefan), Nicole (Mark), Stephen (Stephanie), Matthew and Evan, her brother Clayton (Lily) Tipple; as well as extended family and friends.

We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful residents and staff at Heritage Square Retirement Home who made Olive’s past two years so enjoyable. A sincere and special thank you to the nurses and staff at 4 South B Health Science Centre for your professional care during her brief stay.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service facilitated by Moore’s Funeral Home (Bay Roberts) will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or a charity of one's choice.
