Marcus Ramsey, 85, of Owego, NY lost his courageous battle with Cancer on March 8, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1937 to Anna Rita Donahue and Guy Ramsay. Along with his Mother, he was predeceased by his sons Mark and Matthew and his sister Arleta Millage. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy M. Buza (Dottie) and one son Mitchell Ramsey and his fur babies Maggie and Willie, and his grandchildren, Desiree, Stephanie, Jessica, Casey and Rikki, He was one of 11 children his brothers and sisters, Leonard (Cathy) Dodge, John Dodge, William Dodge, Lynda Mae Newby (Mark), Rita Ann Crosby (Steve), Janet Dodge, Joan Truman, Lucinda Hamilton, Dianna Jilson (Mark), his brother- in- law, Ronald Millage and his sister-in law, Marlene S. Buza, and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked as an electrical engineer and software programmer for GE, IBM and his own consulting business. He wrote one of a kind, software, The Bead Pattern Designers, for the bead craft industry as The Virtual Bead-works and sold his software all over the world. Marcus lived his life to the fullest, he loved to traveling by RV and especially loved cruising the Caribbean, the Amazon River, South American and Europe. He enjoyed snow and water skiing. He loved going to Bonaire, NA, as he was a scuba diver and underwater photographer. A celebration of Marcus's Life will be held later in the Spring, and will be announced at a later date. A private burial will take place for the family.
