Patricia A. Tisdale
<p>Patricia A. (Rutherford) Tisdale of Castile, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday March 12, 2023 at “The Charlotte House” in North Java. She was born March 6, 1951 in Warsaw, NY to the late Harland and Irene (Lyon) Rutherford.</p><p><br></p><p>Patricia was a caregiver for most of her life, doing private caregiving as well as working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at the Eastside Nursing Home, the former Castile Nursing Home and Wyoming County Community Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Patricia loved spending time with her family, including all the summer concerts at the Charcoal Corral. She also loved her time with her dogs, which were like family to her.</p><p><br></p><p>She married the love of her life, Norman Tisdale on March 13, 1971. They shared many adventures together through those years.</p><p><br></p><p>Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Linda Boyd, two brothers, Harlan and James. Two granddaughters, Harley and Hope Tisdale.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Norman Tisdale, two sons, James and Steven of Castile. Three sisters Joyce (Eddy) Burns, Kathy (Vic) Spencer of Castile and Roxanne (Jose’) Colon’ of Florida, One brother Randy (Bonnie) Rutherford of Genesee Falls. Sister (in law) Lillian Rutherford of Florida. Many loving nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a “Celebration” of Patricia’s life (with luncheon) on Sunday March 26 at the Wolfe Creek Event Center in Castile from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or to The Charlotte House, 4316 Route 98, North Java, NY 14113.</p>Obituary
