RONALD FLORENCE

Westminster - Ronald Florence, 78, husband of Ruby Nell Phillips Proctor, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Prisma Health – Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Roanoke, Alabama, Ronald was the son of the late Walter Lee Florence and Nancy Belue Florence. Ronald was a retired carpenter, former truck driver and of the Baptist Faith. Ronald enjoyed woodworking, picking, and gardening.

Ronald is survived by his wife; sons, Ronald Lee Florence (Rebekah), Ronald Christopher Florence (Katelen); daughters, Nancy Gibbs (Don), Rebecca Deloach (Ernest Pitts); stepson, Richard Lynn Proctor (Bobbie); step-daughters, Teresa Ann Proctor, Dawn Noble, Genee Noble; brother, James Florence; sister, Sandra Florence; grandchildren, Sean Strickland, Bradley Florence, Cody Florence, Christen Florence, Dylan Deloach, Holley Hayes, Nicholas Florence, Will Jerrell, Jenna Jerrell, Colin; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Deloach and Matthew Deloach.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his grandsons, Destin Deloach and Ethan.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
