Donald Ray Laws
<p>Donald Ray Laws, 86 of LaFollette, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Wallsend on October 6, 1936, a son of the late Berry Paul and Nanny Elaine Crisp Laws. Donald had been a heavy equipment operator.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Sue Helton Laws; and siblings, Audrey Adkins and Jess Laws.</p><p><br></p><p>Donald is survived by his wife, Lillian Christine Laws; daughters, Jane Laws Broyles and Nancy Van Bever and husband, Chris; son, Donald Paul Laws and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Aaron Broyles and wife, Emily, Patrick Broyles, Katherine Grace Van Bever, and Jared Van Bever; great-grandchildren, Isaac Broyles, Lincoln A. Broyles, and Emma Cate Broyles; sisters, Betty Jenkins and Margaret Garrison and husband, Sam; sister-in-law, Linda Bolton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Mr. Aaron Broyles presiding. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Laws Family.
