<p>Barbara Ann (Housley) Kidd passed away suddenly on Sunday March 12,2023.<br> <br> Barb was born May 25, 1958 in Knoxville; daughter of Anderson Haskel and Janice Christine (Simpson) Housley.<br> <br> She met the love of her life, Carl Wayne Kidd and they were married on May 17, 1979 and they would go on to spend nearly 44 happy years together.<br> <br> Barb worked as a secretary for Lee &amp; Associates insurance agency for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed games, and decorating her home; but her first love was her family.<br> <br> She was preceded in death by her father, “Hack” Housley; sister, Debbie (Browning) Hensley; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Erma (Byrd) Kidd.<br> <br> She is survived by her husband Wayne Kidd; mother, Christine Housley; nephew, Andy Browning and wife, Misty, of Weatherford, TX; niece, Natalie (Browning) Conner; nephew-in-law, Daniel Conner; great-nieces, Lexi, Sophia, and Finley; great-nephews, William and Jacob; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of extended family members.<br> <br> At Barb’s request, no services are planned at this time. Inurnment shall take place at&nbsp; a later date at historic Greenwood Cemetery.<br> &nbsp; </p>

Barb was such a dear friend. No matter how much time passed between our visits, each time we got together the years fell away as if we parted after work the day before. I loved working with her and going to lunch together. Prayers for Wayne and her family always.

My heart broke when I learned of Barbara's death. She was one of my all-time favorite cousins! She will be missed terribly by family and friends. Prayers for the family.

Barbara was such an important worker at lee and assoc I feel like I just lost my right arm such dedication and loyalty is so hard to find will miss you always go rest now high on that mountain! See you there one day!

Barb was always the one I would head to in a room , she had such a beautiful smile and sweet spirit! She will be missed. Prayers for all who loved and knew her ! There are many !
