Our dearly beloved Ivan Jerome Garibay has sadly moved on to the next world with our creator on March 9, 2023. At the young age of 32 years old. He was born on August 19, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Christine Williams Rodriguez and Esteban Rios Velazquez. 

Ivan grew up in Oklahoma City with his two siblings Santos and Isabela and raised his beautiful son Ethan. Ivan worked at Horizon Hydraulics for many years as a machinist. Ivan is formally known as “cheese” because he always had everyone smiling and laughing, he always loved spending time with his family and friends. He liked making jokes, going fishing, working on his Buick regal and loved spending quality time with his son Ethan. 

He is preceded in death by his Aunt Virginia Williams Perez, Uncle Eduardo Velazquez, Grandma Marcelina Rios, Grandpa Santos Velazquez, Grandpa Pete Garibay, Great Grandma Caroline Brown, Great Grandpa Howard Williams, and cousins Alex Castrejon and Laura Guerrero. 

His loved ones will cherish and carry on his memory and will miss him dearly will be his son Ethan Garibay, mother Christine Rodriguez, father Esteban Velazquez, Brother Santos Garibay, Sister Isabela Velazquez, and grandma Virginia Williams, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
