Loving Sister and Friend

Janet Vitiello, 67, of Nutley, passed away on March 13, 2023. Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville, prior to moving to Nutley 11 years ago. Janet was the daughter of the late Anthony and Adeline Vitiello. She was a Teacher’s Assistant, with both the Belleville and Nutley Board of Education, she was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley. Janet is survived by lifetime friends, Irene Mancini and Anna Llewellyn Sabin and their children. Gerard and Deanna Paulov and Caitlyn Llewellyn Baldino and her husband Nicholas, and her adopted mom from South Carolina Mary Lou Smith and a host of family and friends.

The funeral will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 4-7pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions will be accepted at the funeral home for Janet or you can mail a check to St. Gerard Chapel Restoration @ St. Lucy’s Church, Newark, NJ
