<p>Mark Richard Stanton, formerly of Riverhead, passed peacefully on March 1st at the age of 76 in Nashville, TN. </p><p>A U.S. Marine veteran who was decorated for his service in Vietnam, he is survived by his wife Sharolyn, beloved daughters Lauren Lupinacci (Nick) and Sarah, brothers Craig and Keith (Janet), and sister Michele Matteo (Tom).</p><p>A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, March 24th at St. Elizabeth’s Church - 175 Wolf Hill Road, Melville.</p><p>Wake to follow at McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home - 385 Main St., Farmingdale - from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM </p><p> In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the “Wounded Warriors Project”, “Parkinson’s Foundation” or “Alzheimer’s Association”</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>March 1, 202303/01/2023
