<p>SHERMAN/OAKFIELD – Linwood Merry, 91, passed away at home in Oakfield on March 12, 2023. Linnie was born on February 2, 1932 to Charles and Marish (Dickenson) Merry. He graduated from Sherman High School, worked the family farm and worked in the woods. He served three years in the National Guard and two years in the army. He worked as a wood scaler for 25 years at Great Northern Paper.</p><p>In 1986 he married Clyde (Palmer) McNally and they spent many winters in Florida, and during the summer, loved to shop antique shops on the coast.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers and their wives Bart (Ann), Barry (Joyce), Conrad (Beverly), his son Mark, and two grandchildren Shaina and Sharon.</p><p>He is survived by his wife, his beloved children, Steve (Dawn), Kirk (Carolyn), and Lynn. Clyde’s children, Frank, Scott, Kim, Robin, Darlene, and over 60 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.</p><p>There will be a graveside service in the spring.
