Neil E. Krueger

Neil Krueger passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023.

He was born on June 9, 1946, in Columbus (Worthington), Ohio to the late Betty Linquist Krueger of Oak Park, IL & Elwood Charles Krueger of Appleton, WI. The Krueger Family was originally from Mecklenburg, Germany.

Neil leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Vivian Garrison Krueger. Neil was a loving father to Randall (Tonya) Krueger, Susan (Terry)Kelley, and Jeffrey (Jillian) Krueger. Neil was a loving grandpa to 4 grandchildren, Carson & Kara Krueger and Cassia & Connor Kelley. Neil also predeceases his brothers Alan (Judy) Krueger, Larry (Jody) Krueger, numerous kind nephews and caring in-laws.

Neil was a Life Scout, graduate of Western Hills High School and Ohio University, College of Business. Neil was a collegiate swimmer, Conference Champion & NCAA Finalist. He worked for Owens Corning in Wichita, KS & Pittsburgh, PA. He was a haberdasher who owned Lindy’s & Krueger’s Fashions for Men clothing stores in Naples, Florida where he served on the Board of Directors for the Collier County YMCA. He retired from Krueger Insurance in Terrace Park, Ohio in 2022 where he lived and worked for over 25 years. Neil was an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He loved swimming, boating, birdwatching, reading the paper and sitting in the sunshine. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren and was a very supportive spouse. Neil was easy going and well-liked by all.

Neil will be missed dearly by his family & friends.

Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, in Terrace Park on March 18, 2023, at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Avenue, Terrace Park, OH 45174.
