Ron Termance Brady Obituary

Ron Tremance Brady was born on March 3, 1980 to proud parents Ruth Hills and Louis Brady, Jr. On Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 7:10 a.m. God dispatched his heavenly angels to the Baton Rouge General Mid-City Hospital to receive our dear sweet Ron, he departed his earthly life to enter into eternal glory.


Ron accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Derrick Shavers. He loved the Lord and was an active leader in the Marriage Ministry and on January 15th of this year he was ordained as a deacon at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was always willing to help out and volunteered whenever and wherever he was needed.


Ron was educated in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. He was a 1999 graduate of Glen Oaks High School where he enjoyed playing football.


Ron affectionatley known as “Ben” to some worked for BREC for 19 years and was a beloved LSU driver for 23 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved traveling and eating crawfish. His wife, mother and children meant a lot to him. He was a gentle, soft spoken, caring and hardworking man. He kept a smile on his face, and he was loved by everyone. He never left home without a fresh pair of Jordan 1s and his shades.


His love for not only his children but all children was evident by the giving of his time as a coach for many years with the South Baton Rouge Rams Football Club and his affiliation with the Line4Line non-profit organization. Ron mastered the craft of barbering and worked as a barber at Oneil’s Barber Shop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


Ron leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving and devoted wife of 12 years, Lintrecia “Lin” Breaux-Brady; his children Keiron Brady (India Wicks), Rayna Michelle Brady, Talaya Johnson (Kevin Jackson, Sr.) and Paige Skinner; his mother, Ruth Hills; two grandchildren, Kevin “K2” Jackson and Khalinee Brady; sibilings, Angela Brady, Bruce Hills and Louis Brady, his God-daughter, Keyahmynne Bennett; grandparents-in-law, Lawrence and Georgia Breaux; special cousins: Tammy and Reginald Williams, TaShunta and Peter Durand, Terrance and Patricia Bickham and Keda McGee; special friends: Robert and Tasheba LeBlanc, Pastor Derrick and Holly Shavers, Shakayla and Clarence McCall, Oneil’s Barber Shop, BREC Burbank Shop and Line4Line, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, church members and friends.


Ron was preceded in death by his father Louis Brady, Jr., his grandmother, Eula Hills, cousin, Tanya Hills and an uncle Theodore Hills.
