Brenda Jean Wells
<p>Brenda Jean Wells, 70, of Apex passed peacefully at home on March 5, 2023, due to health complications. Brenda was raised in Fuquay-Varina and the eldest daughter of the late Harold and Florence Wells. A visitation will be held at the garden patio of Brenda’s home on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at 229 Old Grove Lane, Apex, North Carolina. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in her honor on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens, 905 Wake Chapel Road, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.</p><p><br></p><p>Brenda was predeceased by her grandparents, Author D. Wells and Lector Keith Wells; and her parents, Harold and Florence Wells.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her son, William Bartley Fish; daughter, Brittain Adelle Erickson; son-in-law, Evan Erickson; and grandchildren, Alexander and Sydney Erickson. She is also survived by a brother, Harold Wells Jr., wife Debbie Wells; and niece, Nicole Collins and family.</p><p><br></p><p>Brenda worked in pharmaceutical clinical research for over 30 years. She was a vivacious spirit full of kindness, humor and joy. She loved gardening, cooking, design and time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved animals.
