Walter E. Brimmer
<p>Walter Erwin Brimmer, Age 84 of, Hastings, MI passed away on March 13, 2023 at his home in Hastings, MI</p><p><br></p><p>Walter was born in Belding, MI, on March 28, 1938, a son of the late Helen (Senkowski) and Chester Brimmer. </p><p><br></p><p>He was raised in Carson City and attended local schools graduating from Rockford High School in 1956. After completing his education, the family moved to Vermontville, MI where the family owned and operated a local service station.</p><p><br></p><p>He was married to Mary (Moffett) Brimmer, and the couple made their home together in the Hastings area where they raised their family together. Walter spent most of his working career with EW Bliss as a Machinist, retiring in 1992 after 30 years with the company.</p><p><br></p><p>In his spare time Walter loved being outdoors, cutting wood, fishing, camping in the UP and took many trail hikes with daughter. He didn't care what the weather was doing, he just wanted to be outdoors. </p><p><br></p><p>Walter is survived by his daughter Sandra K. Brimmer, sister-in-law MaryJo Brimmer, and his grandpets who he dearly loved, Simba and Mystic Moon. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2012, daughter Susan, son Brent, and half-brother Lloyd.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be no funeral services conducted. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Daniels Funeral Home in Hastings, MI conveniently located at 1401 North Broadway, Hastings MI.
