William A. Leyser

<p>William Abraham Leyser, age 85 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Morrow Manor. He was born on September 17, 1937 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the late Harrison and Nathelia (Markau) Leyser. </p><p>William proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was a Certified Public Accountant. He worked at SOHIO in corporate taxation and then as the Director of Tax Operations for BP for 15 years. </p><p>He is survived by his son Jeff (Becky) Leyser of Berkeley, California; his daughter Robyn (Simon) Fraser of Belfast, Northern Ireland; his step-daughter Kara Edwards of Cardington; his sister Tina Leyser&nbsp;Layne of Salem, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren Sara Leyser, Rachel Leyser, Adam Fraser, Dalton Edwards, and Kyla Edwards. </p><p>He was preceded in death by his wife Mary “Karen” (Jacobson) Leyser. </p><p>No services will be observed at this time. </p>
