Billie Ann Earp Obituary

Billie Ann Kilgore Earp passed away of natural causes Monday, March 13, 2023, in Coleman County Medical Center. She was born in Brown County August 14, 1936 and was the daughter of Bill and Katie Kilgore of Cross Plains.

Billie Ann graduated from Cross Plains High School and attended the University of North Texas in Denton. She was married to J.C. Earp, Jr. and they lived and raised their family in Baird.  They have three grown children, Pat Perryman, Jan Mitchell and Bill Earp. Billie Ann has six grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. She has a sister, Sandra Kilgore Gray, married to David Gray, a niece and nephew and great nieces and nephews.

Billie Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katie Kilgore, and her husband, J.C. Earp, Jr.

Billie Ann loved working at the County Extension Office and upon retirement was active in the Methodist Church.  Billie Ann loved working on the farm with the cattle and land.  She enjoyed being part of the Baird 48 Study Club, senior citizen activities and Kids Club. She was a woman full of grace, gentle humor, and a love of family, God and her community.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E. 3rd Street in Baird.  Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, March 17, 2023 at Baird Methodist Church, Hwy 283 North.  Burial will be at Ross Cemetery Spencer Price Addition.
