Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 11th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health

Oshawa, In his 80 th year.

Beloved husband of Helen for 58 years.

Loved father of Darren and Darcy (Suzie).

Cherished grandfather of Trevor, Ethan & Kierra.

Lovingly remembered by his God Children Adam, Samantha and the late

Sarah.

Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Survived by his siblings Jennie, Phyllis (Bun), Joan (Harry), Bonita (Bob),

Barbara Ann (Ron), Gail (late Dave), Judy (Jim), Dale (Gail). Sister- in- laws,

Jean (late Dan), Shirley, Jean (late Bob).

Predeceased by his siblings Beatrice (late Dave), Vincent, Ronald, Donna and

by his parents Donald & Dorothy and his in laws Charlie & Alice Stone.

Darrell retired from GM after 26 years of dedicated service.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, family gatherings, and dancing “The Shimmy”.

Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East,

Oshawa on Sunday March 19 th from 1pm – 3pm and 6pm-8pm.

A Celebration of Darrell’s Life will take place in the Chapel of Armstrong

Funeral Home on Monday March 20 th at 11am. Interment will take place at

Groveside Cemetery, Whitby.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Darrell to the Sunshine

Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
