Diann Lee Marler

<p>Diann Lee Appleby was born in Clovis, California, on March 26, 1945. She attended Pocatello High School and graduated from high school in Modesto, California.&nbsp;She passed away on March 12, 2023, in Pocatello, Idaho at age 77.</p><p><br></p><p>Diann married Don T. Marler on October 25, 1962. The two shared many years as husband and wife.</p><p><br></p><p>Diann converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized in Pocatello, Idaho, on March 28, 1964.</p><p><br></p><p>Diann had many hobbies she enjoyed, including but not limited to painting, gardening, quilting, sewing, horseback riding, cooking for her family, and traveling. She especially loved to laugh with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to give special thanks to Aid for Friends for providing Diann with many years of fulfilling work, which she sincerely enjoyed.</p><p><br></p><p>Diann is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Leigh Appleby, and her mother, Earlene Oma Townsend.</p><p><br></p><p>Diann is survived by her ex-husband, Don T. Marler of Pocatello, ID; sons, Doug Marler of Pocatello, ID and Trent Marler of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Toni Wright of Inkom, ID and Trina Fife of Ammon, ID; sister, Sandy Tolman of Pocatello, ID; cousins, Carole Mitchell of Auburn, CA, and Gregory Appleby of Edmond, OK; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11 am at the LDS Rapid Creek Ward church, 801 N. Rapid Creek Road, Inkom, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior. Burial will follow at the Inkom Cemetery.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Memories and condolences may be shared with the family under the "Tribute Wall" tab above.</p>
