<p>SanJuana (Sandy) Johnson, 68 of Bonner Springs, KS passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at her home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm and the Funeral Service will be at 6 pm, on Thursday, March 16, both at the Alden - Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS</p><p><br></p><p>Sandy was born on November 7, 1954, in Salina, Kansas. In High School she ran the Americanization Center and played pool a lot. She became quite good. She worked at Tony’s Pizza in Salina. In 1985, the family moved to Wichita, KS (10 years) and she worked at T.J. Max. She continued to work at a T.J. Max in Overland Park when they moved to Shawnee, KS. She worked at Park Lanes Bowling Alley. She ran a picture framing business in Overland Park, KS. </p><p><br></p><p>Sandy and Mark were on a bowling league when the boys were young. She was an avid cross-stitcher. Sandy was always up for a family game of basketball, tennis, volleyball or walleyball. She liked to make people happy. She was a great conversationalist, friendly with anyone. She was a great cook, a loving and beloved wife and mom. She enjoyed playing board games with friends and family-Peg Out, Poker. She was all about her family.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her brother Darrell Montoy in 1971 and her parents Ismael in 2008 and Alberta in 2006.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mark Johnson; 2 sons - Jon Johnson (Leigh Ann) of Lansing, KS and Bret Johnson (Pamela) of Lenexa, KS; 4 sisters - Claudia Moreno of Salina, KS, Bernadette Lee of Yuba City, CA, Phyllis Krause of New Boston, MI, and Eloise Martinez of Salina, KS; 2 brothers - Oscar Montoy of Salina, KS and Vincent Montoy of Lindsborg, KS; and 6 grandchildren - Julian, Calen, McKayla, Tre, Brandon and Kai. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
