Robert Couch, 90-year-old Elkhart, Kansas resident passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at his residence.

Robert Leon Couch was born on April 24, 1932 in Dewey, Oklahoma to Leon and Vada (Smith)Couch. He enlisted in the United States Navy from 1951 till 1954. He was honorably discharged and started his career. 

He worked at Gibsons pharmacy in Liberal, Kansas, and  C&R pharmacy in Elkhart, Kansas where he retired at the age of 81.

On September 8, 1956 he was united in marriage to Juanita Vigare in Wichita, Kansas at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

He was an avid snow skier and golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister.

He is survived by two daughters: Shawn Fraser and husband Ronald and Shannon Couch, two sons: Michael Couch and wife Leslie of Amarillo, Texas and Christopher Couch and wife Judy of Amarillo, Texas. Nine grandchildren Bridgett, Heather, Kira, Brittney, Brandon, Robert, Cindy, Veronica and T.J., twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

Prayer Vigil and Rosary services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 7 PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart, Kansas.

Memorial funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart, Kansas with Fr. Rudin Din officiating.
