<p>Our beloved John Leonicio "Juan" Guzman, age 82, born in Harlingen, Texas on Decemeber 26, 1940, Florida resident for 52 years (recently moved to Austin, Texas) was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio Guzman and Angelita Leija Guzman; his loving wife, Olga Teresa Guzman; and his brother, Dionicio Guzman, Jr. </p><p><br></p><p>Juan is survived by his children, Juliet Guzman, Christina Suarez (Tomas), Hope Reyes (Benjamin), and John Guzman, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchilren, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and many other loving family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>John Guzman was a jack of all trades. At a young age, his first job was a mortuary assistant. Throughout the years he was a farmer, a foundry worker, a boxer, a race car driver, a crew leader, a spanish radio broadcaster, and a supervisor at a golf course. His favorite things were watching westerns, working in the yard, and building things. The most important title was a husband for 63 years, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and uncle. He will be missed! May his soul rest in peace.</p>

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio Guzman and Angelita Leija Guzman; his loving wife, Olga Teresa Guzman; and his brother, Dionicio Guzman, Jr.


Juan is survived by his children, Juliet Guzman, Christina Suarez (Tomas), Hope Reyes (Benjamin), and John Guzman, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchilren, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and many other loving family and friends.
